Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated: Fowles Road & Old Oak Boulevard * A 27-year-old Middleburg Heights man was arrested after passing out behind the wheel of his car. * Police found a bar receipt for five alcoholic drinks in his pocket. Damaged Property: Stroud Road * A Stroud resident reported that her son’s car windshield was cracked after a sedan backed onto the lawn and drove away. * Police found an empty alcohol bottle near the car and suspect that it was thrown at the windshield.

Arrest warrant issued, possession of dangerous drugs: Interstate 71
A wanted 41-year-old Lorain woman was arrested on I-71 around 2:30 a.m. on July 14.
The woman was a passenger in a Chevrolet Tahoe that police pulled over just as the vehicle was entering 71, heading north from Bagley Road. The Tahoe had no license plate lights and extremely dark window tint.
Police recognised the woman from an earlier encounter. She was wanted by Sheffield police for aggravated robbery.
Inside the Tahoe, police found a small bag of brown powder they believed was heroin. There was also a scale with white residue.
Arrest Warrant Issued: Bagley Road
A wanted 24-year-old Cleveland man was arrested around 12:30 a.m. July 11 near Taco Bell, 17565 Bagley.
Someone called the police and ambulance about the man, saying he was lying on the sidewalk in front of Taco Bell and appeared to not be breathing.
When police arrived, the man was breathing and conscious. There were multiple warrants out for his arrest. He was turned over to Cleveland police.
Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated: Fowles Road & Old Oak Boulevard
A 27-year-old Middleburg Heights man was arrested around 3 a.m. on July 10 after he passed out behind the wheel of a car stopped near the intersection of Fowles and Old Oak.
Police watched as the man’s car stopped at a Fowles-Oak traffic light after the light turned green. They woke the man, who was confused and denied doing anything wrong.
The police ordered the man to get out of the car, but he didn’t. They wrestled him out of the car. In his pocket they found a bar receipt for five alcoholic drinks.
The car and the man smelled of alcohol. The man’s eyes were bloodshot and glazed.
Damaged Property: Stroud Road
A Stroud resident called police around 4.30am on July 11 to report that her son’s car had been damaged overnight.
The resident reported that around 3:50 a.m., she heard a vehicle playing loud music. She looked out the window and saw a four-door sedan backing onto the lawn across the street, near where her son’s car was parked.
Shortly after, the sedan drove away and the resident went outside to check on her son’s car. The car’s windshield was cracked.
Police checked the area for a sedan with body damage, but found nothing. Later, the resident found an empty bottle of alcohol near her son’s car. She believed someone had thrown the bottle at her son’s windshield.
