The 19-year-old suspect, identified as Davon Johnson, was taken into custody on Wednesday evening after being linked to multiple carjacking incidents. Detectives believe Johnson is responsible for at least six carjackings that occurred in the past month. According to police, Johnson would approach victims at random and demand their vehicles. In some cases, he allegedly threatened victims with a handgun. Fortunately, no serious injuries have been reported in any of the incidents. “This arrest is a significant development in our investigation into these troubling carjackings,” said Providence Police Chief Hugh T.
