Two women who spent time with Liam Payne just before his death have revealed shocking details about the events that took place just before his tragic death.
The One Direction star fell from the third floor of a hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina on October 16.
He died immediately after sustaining serious injuries “incompatible with life”; Two women previously spent time with the star.
Two single mothers from poor neighborhoods of Buenos Aires shared their relationships with the authorities; they said, “No drugs were used, just alcohol.”
Payne contacted the women hours before his death, and they agreed to meet with him.
One is the mother of two children, lives in a neglected house and lives on social benefits, while the other is also a mother and struggles with significant financial debt.
Despite the singer’s wealth, the women he contacted lived far from the luxury often associated with meetings with stars.
The two women, who had never met before, entered the hotel around 11 a.m. on the day of Payne’s death.
They recall that the singer calmly greeted them and invited them for a drink.
The three of them chatted while Payne played with a bottle of scotch and offered the women champagne. Their testimonies show that they did not consume any drugs during their stay, only alcohol.
However, when both women tried to leave the premises, an argument broke out.
Shortly thereafter, the atmosphere in Payne’s room allegedly became chaotic.
Hotel staff reported hearing screams and the sound of breaking glass.
Security staff called 911, but by the time emergency services arrived, the singer’s life had come to a devastating end.
His body was discovered in his hotel room shortly thereafter, sparking an investigation by the Buenos Aires Municipal Police.
The women were quickly identified through hotel records, prompting prosecutor Marcelo Roma to issue an order to locate them for questioning. The women found in their neighborhoods testified in Prosecutor’s Office No. 16.
Their statements confirmed that they spent time with Payne, drank alcohol and talked, but did not confirm whether any sexual activity occurred.
Despite their involvement in the final hours of Payne’s life, Carla and Laura are not currently suspects in the case.
None of the women had any previous convictions, and prosecutors found no evidence linking them to any crime.
