He expressed his belief that the Hardys were underutilized during their time in AEW and is optimistic that their presence in TNA will revitalize the promotion. However, Ray’s ultimate ambition is for the Hardys to make a final return to WWE. He argues that it is the company that nurtured their talents and created their iconic status. Bully Ray hopes that Matt and Jeff can end their storied careers where it all began and be inducted into the prestigious WWE Hall of Fame. Bully Ray’s respect for the Hardy Brothers’ legacy is evident in his desire for them to receive a fitting send-off. While he acknowledges their current endeavors, he believes that their true destiny lies within the hallowed halls of WWE.
While Bully Ray is happy to see the Hardys together again in TNA Wrestling, he hopes they will return to WWE to finish their careers.

On Jeff Hardy returning to TNA: “Nice to see Matt and Jeff together again. Hopefully the Hardys can bring eyes back – or fresh eyes – to TNA. I don’t think the Hardys were used to their maximum potential in AEW. We’ll see what happens.”
On wanting them to retire from WWE: “I would argue that the Hardys should end their careers with the company that created them (WWE). I would like to see Matt and Jeff in the WWE one day and retire there, and then go into the Hall of Fame.
