He recalled another memorable party where he enjoyed tacos with Snoop Dogg and Robert De Niro. He also discussed his upcoming film projects, including “The Bikeriders” with Tom Hardy and “The Cyclists” with Jodie Comer and Norman Reedus.

“It was pretty awesome to see Paul and Ringo (Starr) in the same room,” Butler said with a smile. He also recalled how Springsteen, 74, told him a story about writing a song for Elvis Presley and sneaking onto the King’s compound to convince him to record it.

Swift, 34, “was DJing at one point,” he revealed, without specifying which songs the Grammy winner played. “She now has to play at parties.”

Asked who he was most impressed by: the Dune: part two star joked to Kimmel, “next to you!” — Butler chose Meryl Streep. ‘She’s just the best. You know, in high school, when you have a crush on someone and he or she is across the room and you don’t know how to say hi to him or her? That’s how it was.”

Butler “then went into Paul McCartney’s kitchen and ate some of his vegan pizza,” he recalled. When a friend insisted on introducing him to the 74-year-old Oscar winner, he added, “I couldn’t believe I was meeting Meryl Streep with Paul McCartney’s vegan pizza in my mouth.”

In the late-night interview, the Oscar nominee also recalled another memorable party — having “tacos with Snoop Dogg and Robert De Niro” — and shooting his new movie The Cyclists.

One of Butler’s upcoming projects is Ari Aster’s Eddingtonstarring Emma Stone and Pedro Pascal.

The Cyclists opens in cinemas from Friday. Butler plays a member of a 1960s motorcycle club in the Jeff Nichols film starring Jodie Comer, Tom Hardy, Michael Shannon and Norman Reedus.
