Police in Newark continue to seek the public’s assistance in locating 25-year-old Mohammed Arif Jafari of Syracuse, New York, who was reported missing on August 16, 2023.
Jafari, who has an intellectual disability, was last seen around 9:30 a.m. leaving the Courtyard by Marriott Hotel at 858 Broad Street.
According to director Frage, Jafari was wearing a green T-shirt and khaki pants at the time of his disappearance, but no shoes.
