The Ba Golf Club triumphed in the Monthly Medal Cup at the FSC Golf Club. Despite the scorching heat, approximately 20 Ba golfers showcased their impressive swings. The tournament’s primary objective is to award the Nett Prize, which is exclusive to Ba Golf Club members. However, golfers from other clubs are eligible for other accolades. Chand expressed contentment with the tournament’s opening day, highlighting the attendance of all golfers. Among the notable Ba golfers participating were amateur junior and Ratu Sukuna Cup champion Damon Chen, along with Kadavu-born Samisoni Mara, who came second to Chen in the Ratu Sukuna Cup. The next monthly medal tournament will take place at the end of the following month.

About 20 participants from the Ba Golf Club braved the scorching sun and showed off some entertaining swings.
Club captain Asish Chand was impressed with the turnout and stated that their future plan is to open the competition to golfers from other clubs.
“Today we have about 20 golfers from Ba Golf Club and our plans for the future are to open the tournament to other golfers who want to come and play,” said Chand.
The main focus of the tournament is the Nett Prize.
“This net prize is only open to our club members, but golfers from other clubs can also win other prizes,” Chand explains.
“I am satisfied with the first day of the tournament. All golfers were present as planned.”
Some of the top Ba golfers competing include amateur junior and Ratu Sukuna Cup champion Damon Chen, and Kadavu-born Samisoni Mara, who finished runner-up to Chen in the Ratu Sukuna Cup.
The next monthly medal will be held at the end of next month.
