According to Entertainment Weekly, the final installment will feature the voices of Jeffrey Wright as Uatu the Watcher and Hayley Atwell as Captain Peggy Carter. Brad Winderbaum, Head of Streaming, Television, and Animation for Marvel Studios, recently spoke about the show’s conclusion on the Marvel Studios podcast. He stated that the third season will serve as the culmination of a trilogy, delving even deeper into the multiverse than in previous seasons. “What If…?” launched in August 2021 and is based on the Marvel comic book series of the same name. The show explores alternate timelines in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) and imagines how different events would have unfolded. Season 1 featured episodes such as Atwell’s Captain Carter, T’Challa as Star-Lord, and Doctor Strange as a villain. Season 2 continued the multiverse exploration with Nebula as a Nova Corp member, Peter Quill as an Avenger, and Iron Man on Sakaar. The upcoming season promises even more captivating storylines and alternate realities. While a release date has yet to be announced, “What If…?” Season 3 is set to bring a thrilling conclusion to the beloved animated series.

According to the Entertainment weeklyIt will be the final installment in the series where we see Jeffrey Wright as Uatu the Watcher and Hayley Atwell as Captain Peggy Carter.

The animated superhero series has no release date yet.

Brad Winderbaum speaks on this week’s episode of Marvel’s new official podcast: Marvel Studios‘ Head of Streaming, Television and Animation, said the upcoming season will complete a trilogy.

He also indicated that the series will go further than the first two seasons in exploring the multiverse.

The series, which launched in August 2021, is based on the Marvel comic books series of the same name.

It explores alternate timelines in the multiverse that show what would happen if key moments from the films of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) things went differently.

The episodes of season one of the What if…? animated series include Hayley Atwell becoming the first Avenger, replacing Steve Rogers as Captain America; T’Challa replacing Peter Quill as Star-Lord; Doctor Strange becoming a villain.

In season 2 of the series we saw Nebula as a member of the Nova Corps; Peter Quill attacking the Avengers; Happy Hogan becoming the Hulk and saving Christmas; Iron Man crash-landing on Sakaar.

The show also saw Captain Carter battle the Hydra Stomper; a new Marvel character, Kahhori, gain powers from the Tesseract; Hela find the Ten Rings; the Avengers appear in 1602; and Captain Carter become the most powerful Marvel character of all time.
