The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), the World Health Organization (WHO), and the World Organization for Animal Health (WOAH) have developed the Competencies for One Health Field Epidemiology (COHFE) framework and training guidelines to support field epidemiology training programs in adopting a One Health approach.
COHFE Framework:
* Defines the knowledge, skills, and competencies required for field epidemiologists to implement the One Health approach in public health, animal health, and environmental sectors. * Comprises 14 domains with guidance for frontline, intermediate, and advanced training levels.
