The march to the 2025 Stanley Cup has already begun.
In early July, the New York Rangers announced their 2024-25 schedule . And with stars Adam Fox, Chris Kreider, Igor Shesterkin, Mika Zibanejad and — perhaps most notably — Jacob Trouba returning, the team is hoping to make a second straight Presidents Cup bid and potentially a run at the Cup.
To do that, they’ll need to start strong on their home court in MSG against the NHL’s best teams, including the 2024 Stanley Cup winners Florida Panthers (Oct. 24), the always-exciting New York Islanders (Nov. 3), the competitive Winnipeg Jets (Nov. 12), arch-rival New Jersey Devils (Dec. 2) and the 2023-24 Metropolitan Division runner-up Carolina Hurricanes (Dec. 22).
In the second half of the season, Peter LaViolette’s Broadway Blueshirts will need all the fan support they can get as they skate with the Boston Bruins (January 2), Dallas Stars (January 7), Vegas Golden Knights (February 2), Washington Capitals (March 5) and Edmonton Oilers (March 16).
