The West Agartala Police Station has apprehended Chayan Saha, a shopkeeper from the city, in connection with the leakage of the TTADC exam answer keys. According to police sources, Saha owns a Xerox shop in Advisor Chowmuhani. Data Mohan Jamatia, the ADC’s Chief Legal Advisor who resides in the area, allegedly sent the answer sheet to Saha’s shop. The police believe the answer sheet was leaked from there. Based on an FIR filed by Pradip Debbarma on behalf of the ADC, the police have arrested Saha. Another individual, Sujoy Ghosh, is also named in the FIR, but remains at large. The Tipra Matha party, which won the ADC elections in 2021, was set to conduct the first recruitment test today. However, the exam had to be postponed due to the leak.
