Ferdinand’s first comparison has now been completed, as the legendary United defender now interviews Seedorf about Mainoo.
Speaking to FIVE, Seedorf has now labelled Mainoo the “complete package” in midfield. This comes just a month after the Real Madrid legend suggested Mainoo has a quality he never had.

This is a huge compliment to Mainoo, coming from Seedorf who was so important to every team he played for. At 19, there are still so many levels the talented No. 37 can improve on and we can only imagine how perfect he will be in a few seasons.

The term ‘world class’ is thrown around a lot and often too quickly. That said, Mainoo is on the verge of being considered a world class talent rather than a prospect.
