Robin Benoit was reportedly uninjured in the single-vehicle accident on Marsh Road. According to Pelham Police, Benoit was driving north on Marsh Road when she crossed into the opposite lane of travel, sideswiped a tree, and ended up in the woods. Police arrived at the scene shortly after 11:30 p.m. and found Benoit as the sole occupant of the wrecked vehicle. She was evaluated by the Pelham Fire Department and reported no injuries. An investigation revealed that Benoit was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crash. She was arrested and charged with DUI. PELHAM, NH — A 62-year-old Pelham woman was allegedly intoxicated when she veered off Marsh Road and crashed into the woods late Thursday night.

According to Pelham Police, no one was injured in the single-vehicle crash that resulted in Robin Benoit being charged with driving under the influence.

Police were dispatched to the area of ​​161 Marsh Road for reports of an accident shortly after 11:30 pm. Responding officers found a wrecked 2024 Hyundai Kona within the treeline. The Pelham Fire Department evaluated Benoit — the driver and vehicle’s lone occupant — who reported no injuries.

Police said an investigation revealed Benoit was traveling north on Marsh Road when she crossed the double yellow centerline into the opposite lane of travel. The vehicle side-swiped a tree before coming to a rest in the woods.

Benoit is set to be arraigned in Salem District Court at 8 am July 22.
