Updated 15/07: Nintendo has revealed even more information about its upcoming Nintendo Live Sydney 2024 event, after recently canvassing and reaching out to all the lucky few who could secure an invite to the exclusive event.

According to an email sent to ticket holders and an information page on the official website, Nintendo is asking visitors to register for a “Warp Pipe Pass,” which will determine when they arrive on the day to ensure a smooth entry process. Essentially, it plans to stagger arrivals based on three intervals per day, and from July 18th at 9am AEST you will be able to reserve your access time from the following:

  • Entry Time #1: 10:00am – 11:59pm (AEST)
  • Entry Time #2: 12:00pm – 1:29pm (AEST)
  • Entrance #3: 1:30pm – 3:00pm (AEST)

It is worth noting that there will not There are no restrictions on how long you can stay after checking in. You must check in within the permitted hours for which you registered, on the day your ticket is valid.

In addition to information on how to participate, the official page also has some more details on what everyone can expect from the Nintendo Live Sydney 2024 event, including a gameplay tournament called Mario Dojo, “Experience Zones” based on various Nintendo franchises, mascots and sculpture installations, and more. Updated 01/07: With registrations closing over the weekend, it appears that Nintendo has emailed all participants who registered for a chance to attend Nintendo Live Sydney 2024 to let them know if they managed to secure a ticket.

You will have received an email letting you know whether or not you entered, so be sure to look for a message from “Nintendo Events” and check your spam/junk folders if you don’t see anything. Successful tickets will come with QR codes and links to add the tickets to your mobile wallet, and if you entered with multiple people you will receive the one email with everyone’s ticket in it.

Following the event announcement last month , Nintendo has finally revealed some exciting new details for its upcoming Sydney version of Nintendo Live Expo later this year. The in-person event, which first came to Japan and then moved to the US last year, is finally coming to Australia with a slew of activities for gamers of all ages, including gameplay, My Nintendo Merch, and appearances from the legendary Charles Martinet.

Nintendo Live Sydney will be held at the International Convention Centre Sydney on Saturday 31 August and Sunday 1 September from 10am to 6pm AEST each day, with free single-day tickets drawn as a raffle among Nintendo Account holders. Registration opens on 17 June and closes on 30 June, with participants selected at random to receive a pass to the event.

It’s also worth noting that if you’re hoping to go with anyone else, whether that’s a second person or a whole group, you’ll need to link your Nintendo accounts to a family group. Here’s how to register for the chance to go and ensure your account details and family group are up to date:

How to Register for Nintendo Live Sydney 2024

  • First visit the Nintendo livestream website and register for a chance to be randomly selected to receive free tickets. Registration period starts on 17e June at 9:00am AEST and remains open until 30e June at 11:59pm AEST.
  • Eligible Nintendo Account holders who are at least 18 years old can register for the draw. You can easily Register for an account here if you don’t have one yet.
  • For groups of two or more people, each participant must have their own Nintendo Account linked to the same free account. Nintendo Account Family GroupThis ensures that all parties in the same group can be present together on the same day.
