Mercure’s second hotel in Cyprus opens in the iconic Pallas Theatre after a major renovation
Earlier this month, Mercure announced the opening of Mercure Larnaca City, a new hotel in the heart of Larnaca.
Just a stone’s throw from a host of local attractions, restaurants and shopping malls, Mercure Larnaca City is an ideal location to explore the area and the famous Finikoudes Beach. The hotel is located just seven kilometres from Larnaca International Airport, ensuring seamless connections for both leisure and business travellers.
The impressive new hotel is housed in a historic building, formerly known as the Pallas Theatre, an iconic cinema and concert venue. Following extensive renovation, Mercure Larnaca City has been designed to revive the building’s former glory and honour the legacy of its theatrical roots.
The hotel features 42 standard and spacious superior rooms, each tastefully decorated with modern amenities. Mercure Larnaca City also offers a fully equipped fitness center, Sky View Gym, located next to the hotel’s rooftop pool and bar, where guests can relax and soak up the sun while enjoying a selection of drinks, smoothies, fresh juices and snacks. For a delicious culinary experience, guests can visit the Smoothie Factory on the ground floor, which also serves breakfast.
Mercure Larnaca City is operated by Cypriot hotel company Solaar Hospitality, which also opened Mercure Larnaca Beach in 2023. Both hotels are operated under a franchise agreement with Accor.
