Enlisted Returns to Steam as Free-to-PlayEnlisted Returns to Steam as Free-to-Play Gaijin Entertainment has re-released Enlisted on Steam, making it free-to-play for Valve platform users. Resolving Steam Issues After the game’s initial launch on Steam in March 2023, players encountered two main issues: 1. Paid Content: While Enlisted is now free-to-play, new paid units have been added. However, players can still try the game without making purchases. 2. Account Linking: Linking Steam and Gaijin accounts to transfer game progress is now active but limited for a period of time due to technical reasons. Additionally, some users may encounter issues if their Steam account is already connected to War Thunder via the Gaijin client. incorporated returned to Steam after the March controversies. The game’s Steam debut nearly 4 months ago proved to be a false start, and now the second war shooter is available again on Valve’s platform.
The developers have also released a launch trailer. Check it out below.
Two problems
When incorporated first hit Steam, players mainly commented on two issues. Thankfully, it seems the devs actually listened to the fans… although they didn’t fully fix one issue.
incorporated is now available for free and not just as part of a premium package. New paid units have been added to the gamebut if anyone wants to try the game on Steam first, that option is also there.
The problem Linking Steam and Gaijin accounts to transfer game progress was handled slightly worse. This option is active… however there are two small problems:
- first, Progression Transfer is available for a limited time only. This is said to be the result of technical issues mentioned in March;
- secondly, while many players managed to connect their accounts without any issues, Some users are unable to complete the transfer if their Steam account is already connected via the Gaijina client War thunder. The developers are already working on fixing this glitch (via Reddit).
Encouragement for players
To encourage check-out incorporatedthe developers organized a event where you can earn silver by actively playing. Players can receive 3000 units of this currency for participating in a single battle. They can do this up to three times, earning a total of 9000 silver pieces.
Despite the issues mentioned, it seems that this time incorporated was much warmer received than in March. Players are giving significantly more positive reviews than 4 months ago, despite occasional complaints about the increasing amount of premium content.
