(WSET) — The Roanoke County Fire Department reported that a driver was taken to the hospital after a car crash on Wednesday.
Units from Stations 10 (Masons Cove) and 5 (Hollins) along with Battalion 1 and EMS 2 responded to this traffic accident on I-81 at mile marker 141, fire officials said.

According to the fire department, the driver was taken to a local hospital with injuries, but his life is not in danger.
“Remember to avoid distractions while driving and if you see flashing lights on the side of the road, pull over,” firefighters said.
