Fayetteville Driver Services Center Reopens, Tullahoma Closes for Renovations
The Fayetteville Driver Services Center has officially reopened after undergoing renovations. The center, located at 4351 Huntsville Highway, has been closed since January for upgrades. During the renovations, the following improvements were made: * New flooring and paint throughout the center * Improved lighting and signage for better visibility * Updated computer systems to enhance efficiency * New furniture and equipment for customer comfort The Fayetteville Driver Services Center offers a wide range of services, including: * Driver’s license applications and renewals * Vehicle registrations and title transfers * Learner’s permits * ID cards * Motorcycle endorsements Meanwhile, the Tullahoma Driver Services Center, located at 111 West Lincoln Street, has closed for renovations that are expected to take approximately four months. The Department of Safety and Homeland Security’s Fayetteville Driver Services Center, located at 4110 Thornton Taylor Parkway, which closed in April for a planned renovation, will reopen to the public on Monday, June 17.

The newly renovated full-service center features fresh paint, updated flooring, and new furnishings. Issuance of driver’s licenses and identification cards, REAL IDs, vision, knowledge and skills testing, motor vehicle records, pistol permit applications, voter registration, and organ/tissue donor registration are offered during regular business hours, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. o’clock CT.
The Tullahoma Driver Services Center will close June 13 for renovations and is scheduled to reopen in early August.

The center is now located at 1850 Huntsville Highway. The Tullahoma Driver Services Center is closed for renovations and will reopen in early 2024. In the meantime, customers can visit the Fayetteville Driver Services Center or the Shelbyville Driver Services Center. The Fayetteville Driver Services Center offers a variety of services, including: * Driver’s license renewals * Driver’s license replacements * ID card renewals * ID card replacements * Vehicle registrations * Vehicle title transfers The center is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. The Tullahoma Driver Services Center will be closed for approximately six months while it undergoes renovations. The center will be getting a new roof, new paint, and new flooring. The renovations will also include the addition of a new customer service area. Customers who need to visit a Driver Services Center while the Tullahoma center is closed can visit the Fayetteville Driver Services Center or the Shelbyville Driver Services Center.
