Richa was adjudged the ‘Player of the Match’ after her magnificent performance in the match. She played an unbeaten knock of 64 runs from 29 balls at a strike rate of 220.69. The wicketkeeper-batter hit 12 fours and 1 six during her time at the crease.
After the match, Richa said that India captain Harmanpreet Kaur helped her when they were batting together. The 20-year-old added that the first four covers drives she hit were her favourites.
“Very happy. When I play with Harry Di, she guides me on how the ball comes. When the opportunity comes, I just want to deliver what I know and what I practice. The first four from the cover drive was the favourite moment. Yes, I am feeling good (recovery from concussion),” Richa said.
