As he announces he will not seek re-election, President Biden is at home in Rehoboth Delaware recovering from COVID-19.
Although Biden is endorsing Vice President Kamala Harris for the 2024 campaign, he will still serve out the remainder of his presidential term.
The 2024 campaign will no longer be the Biden-Harris campaign. It will be the Harris campaign, along with the running mate she chooses in the coming days. Harris will still have access to Biden-Harris campaign funds.
At this point, no other Democratic leader has challenged Harris for the presidential nomination. There is no clear indication who Harris will choose as her vice president.
