The proposed park, to be located at a prime location near the White River State Park, will boast a comprehensive array of obstacles and features designed to cater to skaters of all skill levels. The centerpiece of the park will be a massive bowl, providing ample space for fluid transitions and aerial maneuvers. Complementing the bowl will be a street section replete with rails, ledges, and stairs, offering challenges for street skaters. A dedicated pump track will cater to the needs of beginner and intermediate riders, providing a safe and accessible training ground. “This skate park is more than just a place to skate,” said Mayor Joe Hogsett. “It’s an investment in our city’s youth and a testament to our commitment to creating a thriving and vibrant downtown.” The skate park will be designed by world-renowned skatepark designers, New Line Skateparks, with input from local skaters and organizations.
