The 1.2 million-square-foot facility, situated in the heart of downtown Nashville, is poised to host a diverse range of events, from large-scale trade shows to intimate corporate gatherings. “We are thrilled to welcome back our conventions and event partners to Music City Center,” said Charles Starks, President and CEO of the Metro Nashville Convention & Visitors Corp. “Their return is a testament to Nashville’s enduring appeal as a destination for meetings and events, and we look forward to creating memorable experiences for our guests.” To ensure a safe and successful return, Music City Center has implemented enhanced sanitation protocols, increased air filtration systems, and expanded its touchless technology capabilities. The facility also offers hybrid event options, allowing for both in-person and virtual attendance, providing flexibility to event organizers. The first major convention to return to Music City Center is the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) Annual Meeting & Exposition, taking place August 20-24, 2023. This event is expected to draw approximately 5,000 attendees from the association management industry. Other notable conventions scheduled for the coming months include the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) Annual Conference & Expo, the National Association of Realtors (NAR) Annual Conference & Expo, and the Academy of Country Music (ACM) Awards. The return of conventions to Nashville is a significant economic boost for the city.
