Click on the link “NUMBER OF 4960 CANDIDATES PROVISIONALLY QUALIFIED FOR THE WRITTEN FINAL EXAM IN WEST BENGAL CIVIL SERVICES (EXE.) ETC. (PROVISIONAL) EXAM, 2023.” 4. The preliminary result PDF will be displayed on the screen. 5. Save a copy of the WBCS Prelims results in PDF format for future reference. The WBCS Prelims Answer Key was released on December 23, 2023 and the objection period was open till January 5. The WBCS Preliminary exam consisted of objective-based multiple choice questions (MCQ). The main test consists of both objective and essay-based questions. Candidates have to clear both the stages to qualify for the final round of the selection process. The WBPSC preliminary examination is a screening examination. After this point, the marks are of no use and are not taken into account for the final selection. Those who pass the preliminary examinations can proceed to the main examination, which consists of six compulsory papers and two optional questions.
