Clare’s All-Ireland Heroes Return HomeClare’s All-Ireland Heroes Return Home Ennis, Ireland – An estimated 25,000 Clare fans gave a thunderous welcome to their All-Ireland Senior Hurling champions on Monday evening, as the team returned to the Banner with the Liam MacCarthy Cup. Upon arrival in an open bus, the players presented the coveted trophy to their adoring fans at the Fairgreen in Ennis. Earlier in the day, the team had visited Children’s Health Ireland in Temple Street, sharing their victory with the young patients. They then traveled west to Clare, making a stop at manager Brian Lohan’s club, Wolfe Tones in Shannon. Current stars Aaron Shanagher, Rory Hayes, and Daragh Lohan greeted the team at the club, where Lohan received a particularly warm reception. A sign on the makeshift stage declared, “Welcome to the House of Lohan.” After a stopover in Clarecastle, the champions arrived in Ennis to a massive crowd that had gathered at Tim Smythe Park. Music and singing had filled the air all evening, creating an atmosphere of anticipation and excitement.

After visiting Children’s Health Ireland in Temple Street with the cup earlier on Monday, the team travelled west to Clare, stopping first at manager Brian Lohan’s club, Wolves Tones in Shannon.
The club’s current regional stars Aaron Shanagher, Rory Hayes and Daragh Lohan led the team onto the stage, with Lohan being welcomed to a roaring cheer.
A sign on the back of the truck, which served as a makeshift stage for the evening, read: “Welcome to the House of Lohan.”

After a stopover in Shannon, the All-Ireland champions travelled to Clarecastle, the club of two-time All-Ireland winner Anthony Daly, Clare’s captain, before moving on to the main event in Ennis.
Thousands of fans had gathered in the city in the early evening, eagerly awaiting the team’s arrival at Tim Smythe Park, where music and singing had been in full swing all evening.
