Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Taproom Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of taproom operations, including: * Managing daily operations and ensuring a positive and seamless customer experience * Supervising and training taproom staff * Developing and implementing marketing and promotional campaigns * Managing inventory and maintaining cleanliness * Collaborating with the brewing team to showcase new and existing beers
Qualifications
* Minimum of 2 years of experience in a taproom management role * Strong knowledge of craft beer and beverage industry regulations * Excellent customer service and communication skills * Proven ability to manage a team and create a positive work environment * Proficiency in inventory management and point-of-sale (POS) systems * Passion for craft beer and a desire to share that passion with others

Company Description:
Strong Rope Brewery is seeking an enthusiastic Taproom Manager to oversee its Brooklyn taprooms in Gowanus and Red Hook. The ideal candidate will have extensive taproom or restaurant/bar experience and a passion for craft beer.
Job Responsibilities:
* Manage daily taproom operations, including staff supervision, inventory ordering, and sales tracking * Oversee staff scheduling and training * Maintain quality control and safety standards * Develop and manage taproom budget and provide sales analysis * Collaborate with other departments on marketing, events, and programming * Handle customer inquiries and resolve concerns * Facilitate private events * Ensure a clean and welcoming environment for guests
Qualifications:
* Minimum 2 years of experience managing a large taproom or bar/restaurant/event space * Strong knowledge of beer styles, history, and culture * Excellent management and leadership skills * Friendly, enthusiastic, and service-oriented personality * Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and detail-oriented abilities * Ability to work under pressure and handle stressful situations calmly * Flexible work schedule, including availability evenings and weekends * Punctual and responsible * Must be 21 years or older and eligible to work in the US * Certified beer server (Cicerone) preferred * Knowledge of industry software (7shifts, Asana, Slack, Toggle, Google Suite) a plus

Responsibilities:
* Manage all aspects of the taproom operation, including staffing, inventory, and sales * Ensure the delivery of exceptional customer service * Promote and market Strong Rope beers through events and social media * Maintain a clean and organized taproom environment * Supervise and train taproom staff
Qualifications:
* 3+ years of experience in the hospitality industry, including a management role * Strong knowledge of craft beer and the brewing industry * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Attention to detail and a commitment to high standards * Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
