Saol Nua offers help to patients with mental health problems who are recovering

Residents of a mental health facility in Skibbereen are angry after being ordered to leave the facility by the HSE.

Saol Nua cares for psychiatric patients recovering from illness. They pay rent for the building, while the HSE pays for electricity and heating.

Patients live independently, have their own bedroom and live in small units where they can, for example, cook meals.
